Blue Devils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Braulio Gelacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Gelacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Jelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Gelacio ran back to his position shaking his head. Xove Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Martin Jelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Braulio Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergnorden IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Gelacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Jelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Devils FC's goalkeeper Martin Jelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Blue Devils FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olle Lundqvist hit a great ball. Sixten Bokelund made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Urban Tidéksson sent off a good shot on target. Anton Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Xove Contreras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Jelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Martin Jelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xove Contreras went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Xove Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Kristian Bäcklin made a precise shot to the right of Martin Jelm. Blue Devils FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Martin Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xove Contreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Gelacio in the 47th minute of play forced Blue Devils FC's goalkeeper Martin Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Urban Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bergnorden IF booed when Blue Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Kristian Bäcklin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Martin Jelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st match minute, Bergnorden IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Contreras to maneuver through the defense. Xove Contreras struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Martin Jelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergnorden IF. Xove Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Devils FC's zone, Thomas Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Jelm came out of the goal and Thomas Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blue Devils FC's Martin Jelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Devils FC from getting a goal against them. Bergnorden IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
