Spectators: 7715 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 105) Hortlax FC's Robert Isaksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Christoffer Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pålsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Christoffer Lindström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Pålsson. The goal made the score 1-0. FTU were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Hortlax FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olov Örtlund took the corner. FTU's Michael Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Stenberg in the 11th minute of play. Frans Almkvist hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With his leg Alex Pålsson managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when FTU's Christian Svanström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Hortlax FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Philip Stenberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Kossakowski in the 23rd minute of play forced Hortlax FC's goalkeeper Alex Pålsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Pålsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Kossakowski in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Robert Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Pålsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Lindström in the 27th minute. FTU's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olov Örtlund in the 28th minute. Henry Påk thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alex Pålsson, a very annoying self made goal in the 29th minute which led to 2-0. Alex Pålsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Svanström in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arkadiusz Kossakowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Pålsson. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. Alex Pålsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Kossakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Alex Pålsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Svanström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frans Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hortlax FC defense, Arkadiusz Kossakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Pålsson. The Hortlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Pålsson should have stopped the shot. After 57 played minutes Hortlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Lidberg. In the 60th minute FTU were awarded a corner. Olov Örtlund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hortlax FC's goalie and right to Jorginho Simão. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hortlax FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Henry Påk fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hortlax FC's protests and gave Henry Påk a yellow card for diving instead. Henry Påk kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When FTU's Arkadiusz Kossakowski in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hortlax FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FTU booed when Hortlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Arkadiusz Kossakowski made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hortlax FC's Alex Pålsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arkadiusz Kossakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
