When Folke Örtendal came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Blue Devils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Örtendal couldn't finish the play. Beetlejuice's Malte Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Matthiessen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Jelm having to interfere. A hard shot 9 in the game by Stig Matthiessen from a close distance when the talented Martin Jelm managed to make a qualified save. Blue Devils FC's players were relieved. If Malte Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Wallman during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Malte Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Christer Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Beetlejuice's Stig Matthiessen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Jelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Malte Fransson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Jelm. The goal made the score 1-0. Beetlejuice's Malte Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Matthiessen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Beetlejuice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Martin Jelm had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stig Matthiessen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blue Devils FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patric Kvalfält was slow to take the kick. During this time Beetlejuice's players had a chance to rest. Malte Fransson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Nestor Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Örtendal in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beetlejuice's Gottfrid Tingelholm got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Stig Matthiessen sped through Blue Devils FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Jelm. Blue Devils FC's Martin Jelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Devils FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Örtendal to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Kevin Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Patric Kvalfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beetlejuice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Kvalfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Blue Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Fransson came free, but Martin Jelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Stig Matthiessen notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Blue Devils FC's Martin Jelm. Martin Jelm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beetlejuice's Malte Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Stig Matthiessen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Jelm was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Malte Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Beetlejuice's goalkeeper Nestor Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urban Tidéksson. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Devils FC's zone, Sivert Simonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Jelm came out of the goal and Sivert Simonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Blue Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Olle Lundqvist. The supporters of Beetlejuice booed when Blue Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Stig Matthiessen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Martin Jelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Beetlejuice players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
