The tension between the Rosendahl Flyers and the FC Frölunda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rosendahl Flyers's Ernst Högström got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute FC Frölunda were awarded a corner. William de Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. Niklas Kollberg made a great header on FC Frölunda's corner, it was just that Rosendahl Flyers's Richard Brodin managed to reach the ball for a save. Jörgen Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Brodin having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Rosendahl Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Vase to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Adie came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosendahl Flyers's Jurand Adamczak. But to his dismay, Jurand Adamczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, William de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Frölunda's supporters crossed their fingers, but William de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Brodin made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Karl-Magnus Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. Pål Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jurand Adamczak put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jimmy Adie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Martinsson got free with Richard Brodin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Frölunda were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Rosendahl Flyers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. William de Souza took the corner. Joakim Andersson made a great header on FC Frölunda's corner, it was just that Rosendahl Flyers's Richard Brodin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute, Jurand Adamczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Adie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Adamczak's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Jurand Adamczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Adie was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Jurand Adamczaks short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Jimmy Adie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Rosendahl Flyers's zone, Jörgen Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Brodin came out of the goal and Jörgen Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ernst Högström in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Frölunda's Marcin Bambas. Jurand Adamczak in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmy Adie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Frölunda's Jimmy Adie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Frölunda from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the match, Jurand Adamczak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jimmy Adie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jörgen Nordström struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Richard Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Frölunda. In the 68th minute FC Frölunda were awarded a corner. William de Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. 70 minutes into the match, FC Frölunda's Jörgen Nordström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jurand Adamczak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Jimmy Adie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Rosendahl Flyers booed when FC Frölunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. William de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, William de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jordy Carayol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Frölunda's Jimmy Adie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Adamczak in the 83rd minute of play. If Matias Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rosendahl Flyers's Jurand Adamczak in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Frölunda's goalie prevented a goal. Jurand Adamczak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jimmy Adie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Frölunda's William de Souza got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Frölunda lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
