William de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Berg having to interfere. The supporters of FC Frölunda booed when jananan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Karl-Magnus Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvin Berg. jananan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Magnus Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Karl-Magnus Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Frölunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Martinsson couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jörgen Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Berg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Gerdberg in the 20th minute of play forced FC Frölunda's goalkeeper Jimmy Adie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. jananan's Alvin Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Martinsson in the 21st minute of play. Alvin Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Mats Ahlfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the jananan and the FC Frölunda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes jananan got a freekick which was hit by Mats Ahlfors. Jimmy Adie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Gerdberg in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that William de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Berg was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC Frölunda's Jimmy Adie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Frölunda from getting a goal against them. Jimmy Adie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Gerdberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Karl-Magnus Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Frölunda's William de Souza got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Martinsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alvin Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st match minute, FC Frölunda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Bambas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Ahlfors got free with Jimmy Adie in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute of the match jananan got a corner. FC Frölunda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelio Quexal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on jananan's corner Cornelio Quexal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jimmy Adie quite easily take care of the ball. Jimmy Adie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Niklas Kollberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Per Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Karl-Magnus Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Magnus Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alvin Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvin Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. William de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Elias Gerdberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jimmy Adie, 3-1. The throw-in from Gustav Bergvall in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Frölunda's Gabriel Åkesson. FC Frölunda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
