Bräcke FC's Lars Melin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jânio Velloso in the 4 minute of the game. Lukas Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Lindholm having to interfere. In the 9th minute Pontus Wennerquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ahlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Gabirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Peter Ahlin made a huge save. A collision led to Bräcke FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mårten Siöman hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bräcke FC's Peter Ahlin got control of the ball when Gábor Keserű tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Bräcke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Gabirel came free, but Peter Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bräcke FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mårten Siöman hit a great ball. William Biörling was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Delmiro Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ahlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gábor Keserű sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Bräcke FC's Filip Frisck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Lindholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Frisck in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Lindholm saved Björköby from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Björköby's Pontus Wennerquist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Filip Frisck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lars Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Gábor Keserű got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pontus Wennerquist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Peter Ahlin to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Frisck to make the kick off. Peter Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Wennerquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Lindholm having to interfere. Eddie Malmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Frisck, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Björköby getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Delmiro Gabirel hit a great ball. Bengt Lindholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Hermansson in the 71st minute. Sven-Arne Gulliksson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Peter Ahlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Keserű in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Gabirel in the 79th minute of play forced Bräcke FC's goalkeeper Peter Ahlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Ahlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Wennerquist in the 81st minute of play. Björköby's Bengt Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Hedvall in the 83rd minute of play. Bräcke FC's Lars Melin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jânio Velloso, made in the 85th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Filip Frisck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt Lindholm. Filip Frisck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Peter Ahlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Gabirel went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Björköby's Ingmar Flink was substituted for Jânio Velloso.
