In the 9th minute, Milton Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Gallin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Hellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Knipan IF's goalkeeper Amadeu Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Mårtensson. BenKrossarna's Kristian Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Nordin in the 42nd minute of play. Kristian Hellqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Nordin's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Magnus Gallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knipan IF's Stig Lindholm was substituted for Edgar Nordin. After a rather tough play, Knipan IF's David Bern got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Stig Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Magnus Gallin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristian Hellqvist. The goal made the score 1-3. Kristian Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Lindholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeu Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Amadeu Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lindblom in the 90th minute of the match. Göran Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Knipan IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. Göran Mårtensson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BenKrossarna's Denílson Hermes got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Stig Lindholm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Kristian Hellqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Knipan IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BenKrossarna throughout the match.
