An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Boman in the 19th minute of play forced Knipan IF's goalkeeper Amadeu Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ystad Mad Cowz's Kent Bållström got control of the ball when Hugo Engström tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Wennerlund in the 23rd minute of play forced Knipan IF's goalkeeper Amadeu Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Knipan IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Söderqvist. Kent Bållström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Söderqvist in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Kent Bållström managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Knipan IF's Olle Bröms fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Knipan IF's Amadeu Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Wennerlund in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olle Bröms got free with Kent Bållström in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Knipan IF's corner Dick Näfver fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kent Bållström quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Knipan IF booed when Ystad Mad Cowz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Pietrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes Knipan IF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Ekelund. Knipan IF made a substitution. Edgar Nordin replaced Hugo Engström. Knipan IF made a substitution. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Nordin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
