An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Åhman in the 16th minute of play forced Alstra IF's goalkeeper Isaac Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Carl Carlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Sikström. Carl Carlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pontus Åhman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Isaac Haström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby IF. Holger Lindqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Haström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Lindqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaac Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dan Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osar Fisk in the 36th minute of play. The Hammarby IF fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Hammarby IF's Holger Lindqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Inge Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Lindqvist in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Haström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Osar Fisk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Alstra IF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Osar Fisk hit a great ball. When Hammarby IF's Holger Lindqvist in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alstra IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute, Holger Lindqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Haström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. The corner ended in Inge Valler almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alstra IF's Isaac Haström did a great save. After 89 played minutes Alstra IF got a freekick which was hit by Osar Fisk. When Eriberto dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Alstra IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto dos Santos couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 94 in the game by Holger Lindqvist from a close distance when the talented Isaac Haström managed to make a qualified save. Alstra IF's players were relieved. Alstra IF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
