Mordankan FC's Karl Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Åkesson in the 23rd minute of play. Valter Glanselius scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saúl Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valter Glanselius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Saúl Sampaio made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Robin Backman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörarp FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mordankan FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Mörarp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Backman to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Evert Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Åhlberg fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörarp FK's protests and gave Tomas Åhlberg a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mörarp FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
