The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pelle Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Sigman in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Kenty Linköping's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabin Mergea was slow to take the kick. During this time Flock of Eagles's players had a chance to rest. Esbjörn Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Darwis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Forsman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabin Mergea's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Sabin Mergea in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pelle Forsman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esbjörn Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save BK Kenty Linköping from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when BK Kenty Linköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Sabin Mergea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Osvald Backlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Sabin Mergea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Mergea in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pelle Forsman saved BK Kenty Linköping from getting behind. When Flock of Eagles's Sabin Mergea in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Kenty Linköping's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes BK Kenty Linköping got a freekick which was hit by Johan Hylander. After 39 minutes of play, Flock of Eagles's Sabin Mergea made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pelle Forsman was left in no man's land by his defense there! BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save BK Kenty Linköping from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Joacim Jonsson in the 43rd minute really tested Pelle Forsman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Olle Sigman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Pelle Forsman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, BK Kenty Linköping's Astor Etxahun got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Sabin Mergea made the kick off in the second half. Claes Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Olle Sigman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Sabin Mergea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flock of Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Flock of Eagles's Kent Asklöv got a free kick in the 57th minute. BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Mergea in the 59th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Flock of Eagles's Sabin Mergea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pelle Forsman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Flock of Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Olle Sigman. Olle Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelle Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Mergea in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Olle Sigman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Sabin Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flock of Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabin Mergea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Kenty Linköping's goalkeeper Pelle Forsman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to BK Kenty Linköping getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Wladyslaw Panasewicz hit a great ball. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jan-Erik Heggert hit a great ball. Pelle Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Sigman in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when BK Kenty Linköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball.
