Leif Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Folker Alberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Degeberga fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Degeberga's Folker Alberts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Folker Alberts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Leif Wennerqvist made a huge save. Sebastian Walroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Lang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Degeberga's Folker Alberts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leif Wennerqvist.
