In the 27thth minute of the game Torbjörn Bohlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bellmans pöjkar's Leif Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Bellmans pöjkar's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Möller came free, but Leif Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Bellmans pöjkar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Bohlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Christian Palmquist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Bohlin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leif Wennerqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Torbjörn Bohlin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. Leif Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Bohlin in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Bellmans pöjkar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Per-Oskar Möller fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute Torsten Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Ahlerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Palmquist in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Bellmans pöjkar booed when IFK Söderköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Frykberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Bellmans pöjkar's goalkeeper Leif Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Bohlin. Thanks to some nice moves Roland Holmstedt could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Leif Wennerqvist however easily saved by the left post. Stig Ahlerot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sebastian Walroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stig Ahlerot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Walroth scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig Ahlerot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The IFK Söderköping supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Söderköping would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
