The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Stensjön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Flinck came free, but Sven-Oskar Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Stensjön IFK got a freekick which was hit by Matt Mampaerts. In the 9th minute, Karl-Michael Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cristian Ulizes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Hammarberg was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuzman Nedyalkov in the 21st minute of play forced Stensjön IFK's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cristian Ulizes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falavelia AFC's Mats Hammarberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mats Hammarberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Helberg in the 24th minute of play. If Kuzman Nedyalkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alexander Helberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Helberg made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Falavelia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Larsson. In the 58th minute Kuzman Nedyalkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Oskar Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Helberg got free with Mats Hammarberg in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Helberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Hammarberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexander Helberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 68th minute. Sven-Oskar Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Nedyalkov in the 71st minute of play. Matt Mampaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt Mampaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stensjön IFK booed when Falavelia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Helberg during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven-Oskar Säv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Karl-Ove Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sven-Oskar Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Rosén hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
