Sven-Oskar Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stor Klack, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Andréas Lidman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Worst Team Ever's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stensjön IFK the free kick. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Andréas Lidman hit a great ball. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Helberg in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos got control of the ball when Alexander Helberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, József Murai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Oskar Säv was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Helberg got free with Lazaros Kotsiopoulos in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Viklund charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Viklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, one of Stensjön IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stensjön IFK. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Worst Team Ever. Ralf Pettersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven-Oskar Säv. 1-2. In the 41st minute Ralf Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Lazaros Kotsiopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Worst Team Ever booed when Stensjön IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Worst Team Ever's Sven-Oskar Säv threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaias Eguerdi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, Stensjön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Sven-Oskar Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Isaias Eguerdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sven-Oskar Säv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stensjön IFK's Sven-Oskar Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Stensjön IFK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Worst Team Ever booed when Stensjön IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Karl-Michael Björkdal fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stensjön IFK's protests and gave Karl-Michael Björkdal a yellow card for diving instead. If Cristian Ulizes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by Felix Hedlund. In the 89th minute of the match Sebastian Fagrell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Harald Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ralf Petterssons short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Sven-Oskar Säv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th match minute, Stensjön IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
