Hjalmar Classon was slow to take the kick. During this time Jakobsgatan 01's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ernani Ribeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hyssna's Jorge Iribarren did a great save. Ernani Ribeiro scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Iribarren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudolf Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hyssna's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sten Gustavsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Jorge Iribarren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jakobsgatan 01's Antonis Nikopolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Stenqvist in the 27th minute of play. When Jakobsgatan 01's Ernani Ribeiro in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Ernani Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jakobsgatan 01 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 54th minute, Zebastian Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hyssna's Rudolf Skoglund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jakobsgatan 01. Reine Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Nikopolidis having to interfere. In the 57th minute Ernani Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernani Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernani Ribeiro took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Iribarren. Jorge Iribarren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Reine Stenqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Antonis Nikopolidis made a huge save. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Preda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Hyssna got a freekick which was hit by Reine Stenqvist. In the 83rd minute Ernani Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenico Preda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Iribarren having to make a save. Ernani Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ernani Ribeiro sped through Hyssna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Iribarren. The supporters of Jakobsgatan 01 booed when Hyssna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ernani Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Jakobsgatan 01 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani Ribeiro in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Iribarren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Jakobsgatan 01 were the better team. Jakobsgatan 01's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
