An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Gallberg in the 13th minute of play forced Glumslöv's goalkeeper Leif Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Erasto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Dalgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacobo Erasto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 15th minute. After the first half Lidingö were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Målare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Emil Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Dalgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes Lidingö's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Åman who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Gelu Cornoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidingö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Cornoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Glumslöv's Leif Sjö got control of the ball when Gelu Cornoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
