Oskar Ånger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Krister Fors when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Krister Fors managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Bäckefors BF's Oskar Ånger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ralf Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bäckefors BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Fors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Oskar Ånger sped through Folkes BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Krister Fors. A hard shot 18 in the game by Oskar Ånger from a close distance when the talented Krister Fors managed to make a qualified save. Folkes BK's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Bäckefors BF's Oskar Ånger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Krister Fors. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute, Oskar Ånger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Oskar Ånger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Folkes BK's Krister Fors was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Folkes BK got a freekick which was hit by David Hellbom. If Ralf Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ralf Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Oskar Ånger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Folkes BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Mårtensson came free, but Krister Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskar Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Krister Fors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Böcklund struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Aleksandr Kiselev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folkes BK. If Ralf Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bäckefors BF's Oskar Ånger was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 46th minute, Alf Tholsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Folkes BK's goalkeeper Krister Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Erik Bergqvist. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Böcklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Ralf Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Ånger in the 60th minute of play forced Folkes BK's goalkeeper Krister Fors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krister Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oskar Ånger's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Helge Böcklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aleksandr Kiselev made a huge save. Folkes BK made a substitution. Bengt-Åke Almkvist replaced Billy Sjöberg. In the 72nd match minute, Folkes BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Bäckefors BF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Ånger. In the 83rd match minute, Bäckefors BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Takalani to maneuver through the defense. Folkes BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bäckefors BF the free kick. When the referee ended the match the Bäckefors BF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
