The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erland Björklund in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Sjö saved Glumslöv from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Målare in the 4th minute of play forced Blågula Fans FF's goalkeeper Andreas Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erland Björklund in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Sjö saved Glumslöv from getting behind. Aleksander Målare took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Söderberg. Andreas Söderberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arman Ekeroth got free with Leif Sjö in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glumslöv's Leif Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Glumslöv from getting a goal against them. Ignace Vermeulen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leif Sjö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Glumslöv getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eugeniusz Wasikowski hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Bertil Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Björklund got free with Leif Sjö in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Östen Malmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blågula Fans FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glumslöv the free kick. In the 26th minute, Östen Malmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ignace Vermeulen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leif Sjö. Leif Sjö made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Erland Björklund sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sebastian Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blågula Fans FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Bredberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Sjö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Glumslöv's goalkeeper Leif Sjö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Björklund. Leif Sjö made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ignace Vermeulen sent off a good shot on target. If Arman Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Ekeroth let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 45th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Erasto was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Erland Björklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Leif Sjö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Glumslöv booed when Blågula Fans FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Ekeroth in the 58th minute of play forced Glumslöv's goalkeeper Leif Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Erland Björklund made a precise shot to the right of Leif Sjö. Glumslöv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Jacobo Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Leif Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Björklund in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Sjö prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Blågula Fans FF's Sven Nordin in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glumslöv's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Glumslöv's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Björklund came free, but Leif Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Björklund in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Sjö prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ignace Vermeulen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Blågula Fans FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignace Vermeulen couldn't finish the play. Leif Sjö stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Sundén's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Leif Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Erland Björklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Leif Sjö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arman Ekeroth took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Sjö. Leif Sjö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. The audience was convinced that Erland Björklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leif Sjö was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
