Folkes BK's Krister Fors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Folkes BK from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Folkes BK's goalkeeper Krister Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Lundkvist. With a little luck, Folkes BK's Krister Fors got control of the ball when Bernt Lundkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernt Lundkvists short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Krister Fors to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Wäsby Rockers's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Böcklund came free, but Alex Lingren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernt Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Wäsby Rockers's Bernt Lundkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Krister Fors. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Basualdo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Krister Fors. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. Krister Fors made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Anthon Pihlgren sent off a good shot on target. Bernt Lundkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. The wind increased when Bernt Lundkvist made the kick off in the second half. Krister Fors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Lundkvist in the 52nd minute of the match. Folkes BK's Krister Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Lundkvist in the 62nd minute of play. If Sture Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krister Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Wäsby Rockers were awarded a corner. Marc Vennersten went to the cornerflag to take it. Folkes BK made a substitution. Bengt-Åke Almkvist replaced Billy Sjöberg. Bernt Lundkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Krister Fors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Sture Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Fors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folkes BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Basualdo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 87 played minutes Wäsby Rockers got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Galeno. Wäsby Rockers made a substitution. Pär Qvalfeldt replaced Sture Ros. In the 88th match minute, Wäsby Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Galeno to maneuver through the defense. Martin Basualdo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krister Fors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Pär Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Fors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wäsby Rockers booed when Folkes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Böcklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wäsby Rockers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
