The supporters of Vejbystrand IFK booed when Storbyns IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Ekblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Elliott Uggla made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Johan Olsson. Storbyns IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Eric Kjellbom fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storbyns IF's protests and gave Eric Kjellbom a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Storbyns IF got a freekick which was hit by Eric Kjellbom. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elliott Uggla to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Uggla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vejbystrand IFK's Emil Söder got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliott Uggla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Olsson having to make a save. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Elliott Uggla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Johan Olsson. Storbyns IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliott Uggla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
