In the 9th minute, Jens-Åke Stenkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Folkes BK's Helge Böcklund got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kenny Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Folkes BK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. David Hellbom hit a great ball. Alf Tholsson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Alf Tholsson fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folkes BK's protests and gave Alf Tholsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Folkes BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alf Tholsson hit a great ball. Krister Fors didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svante Fastesson went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Helge Böcklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenny Lundqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Helge Böcklund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Billy Sjöberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenny Lundqvist. The goal made the score 2-2. The supporters of GRAPPA booed when Folkes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kenny Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of GRAPPA booed when Folkes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Helge Böcklund came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Folkes BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Böcklund couldn't finish the play. In the 58thth minute of the game Isak Göransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRAPPA's Kenny Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GRAPPA's Kenny Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Gustavsson in the 64th minute of play. Kenny Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Böcklund in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Arvid Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, GRAPPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Holm to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Böcklund in the 71st minute of play forced GRAPPA's goalkeeper Kenny Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helge Böcklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenny Lundqvist having to make a save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Folkes BK's goalkeeper Krister Fors, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Helge Böcklund took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenny Lundqvist. Kenny Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, David Hellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Lundqvist. GRAPPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Hellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Kenny Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Böcklund in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Folkes BK had played much better football throughout.
