The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Valla IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Ingemarsson should have stopped the shot. Per-Arne Sundström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Igor Damião firmly grabbed it by the left post. Oskar Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, Bäckefors BF's Ralf Mårtensson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Ingemarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Kent Anundsson fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bäckefors BF's protests and gave Kent Anundsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valla IF booed when Bäckefors BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valla IF's Samuel Ingemarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Takalani in the 82nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Valla IF's Igor Damião threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from George Löv, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute Per-Arne Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bäckefors BF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oskar Ånger hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bäckefors BF fully deserved thier win.
