The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Lundkvist was the one to do the kick off. Sture Ros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Glumslöv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Åberg to maneuver through the defense. If Pär Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugeniusz Wasikowski lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Israel Leiva walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Leif Sjö didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Leiva went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
