The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Sumpan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Vallengren to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Steinar Stålhandske heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 15 minutes into the match, FC Zorro's goalkeeper Ivan Sjögren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Fredriksson. Agne Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Jönsätt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Agne Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Jönsätt in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Viggo Jönsätt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agne Målare. Sumpan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viggo Jönsätt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Sumpan FC booed when FC Zorro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Jönsätt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sumpan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Garci came free, but Agne Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Higinio Garci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agne Målare. Sumpan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Garci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sumpan FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after FC Zorro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sverker Vacker took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sumpan FC's corner Sverker Vacker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Sjögren quite easily take care of the ball. Agne Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steinar Stålhandske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Hägert during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Michael Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Steinar Stålhandske had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viggo Jönsätt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Steinar Stålhandske made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sumpan FC's Agne Målare tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes Sumpan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fathoni Andrich who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fathoni Andrich got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agne Målare quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Sumpan FC's Agne Målare got control of the ball when Steinar Stålhandske tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sumpan FC's Agne Målare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sumpan FC from getting a goal against them. Sven-Olof Lidberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Agne Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Jönsätt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Kurt Bergendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumpan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Viggo Jönsätt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Zorro's Ivan Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Thedin in the 75th minute of play. Ivan Sjögren came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumpan FC's Mats Fredriksson. But to his dismay, Mats Fredriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 84th minute, Mats Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Sjögren. FC Zorro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Higinio Garci hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Bergendahl in the 90th minute of play forced FC Zorro's goalkeeper Ivan Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Zorro's Steinar Stålhandske got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ulf Vallengren's late challenge caught a FC Zorro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Vallengren helped the player get up and apologised. Ulf Vallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Zorro were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sumpan FC to leave the ground with a draw.
