With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Bjurström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bjurström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Thedin in the 9th minute of play forced IFK Flemingsberg's goalkeeper Dan Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kurt Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Flemingsberg's Frank Palmquist got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Helge Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the game, Frank Palmquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Flemingsberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sumpan FC the free kick. 18 minutes into the match, IFK Flemingsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Fredriksson came free, but Dan Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kutalp Arkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kurt Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Flemingsberg's goalkeeper Dan Bjurström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Bjurström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Hägert went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kurt Bergendahl took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Bjurström. Dan Bjurström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Flemingsberg's zone, Mats Fredriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Bjurström came out of the goal and Mats Fredriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sumpan FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sverker Vacker in the 44th minute. Kutalp Arkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bjurström having to interfere. Arvin Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Bergendahl to make the kick off. Dan Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to IFK Flemingsberg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Charlie Bäcklin hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, IFK Flemingsberg's Sverker Apelqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agne Målare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Kurt Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bjurström having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Helge Thedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumpan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Thedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sumpan FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after IFK Flemingsberg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sverker Vacker took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sumpan FC's corner Kurt Bergendahl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Bjurström quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, IFK Flemingsberg's Dan Bjurström got control of the ball when Mats Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Sumpan FC's Mats Fredriksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 87thth minute of the game Kurt Bergendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Flemingsberg's Dan Bjurström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Sverker Apelqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Målare was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vincent Helström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumpan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Helström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Bjurström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sumpan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
