A collision led to Sumpan FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Kurt Bergendahl hit a great ball. Bengt-Rune Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Ström having to interfere. Helge Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Dijon FC's goalkeeper Kasper Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Bergendahl. Sumpan FC's Agne Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Stenström in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Kurt Bergendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumpan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Helge Thedin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumpan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dijon FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Sumpan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Thedin to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Dijon FC's goalkeeper Kasper Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Bergendahl. After a rather tough play, Sumpan FC's Karl-Michael Hägert got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kasper Ström made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mats Fredriksson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Sumpan FC's Helge Thedin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kasper Ström. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. When Kurt Bergendahl came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Sumpan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Bergendahl couldn't finish the play. Helge Thedin might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Ström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helge Thedin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dijon FC's goalkeeper Kasper Ström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kasper Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kutalp Arkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Helge Thedin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Vincent Helström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakob Stenström to make the kick off. Kasper Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sverker Vacker charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverker Vacker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Sverker Vacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasper Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Thedin in the 58th minute of play. Kasper Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutalp Arkın, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sumpan FC's Kurt Bergendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Sumpan FC's Kutalp Arkın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasper Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 68th minute, Mats Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Torbjörn Karlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Karlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helge Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasper Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sumpan FC's Vincent Helström got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mats Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sumpan FC had played much better football throughout.
