When Emanuel Giliusson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Täfte Flyers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Giliusson couldn't finish the play. Cesare Varglien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hjalmar Pedersson's late challenge caught a Empo FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjalmar Pedersson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Täfte Flyers's Hjalmar Pedersson got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kilström in the 28th minute of play forced Empo FF's goalkeeper Cesare Varglien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Empo FF got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Högberg. The supporters of Täfte Flyers booed when Empo FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Empo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, Empo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Mellbad to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Vester made a kick off. Michael Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cesare Varglien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Michael Kilström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Täfte Flyers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Spike Delamore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Täfte Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. Olof Eriksson came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Empo FF's Spike Delamore. But to his dismay, Spike Delamore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Spike Delamore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Eriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Spike Delamore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spike Delamore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Täfte Flyers's goalkeeper Olof Eriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michael Kilström kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Simon Gabrielsson fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empo FF's protests and gave Simon Gabrielsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Empo FF got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gabrielsson. Olof Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cesare Varglien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Vester in the 95th minute of the match. Empo FF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
