Robin-Pascal Hood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK. 26 minutes into the match, Raska Bollgrabbar's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Kjellqvist came free, but Robin-Pascal Hood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Hultstrand in the 29th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Arvid Uggla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin-Pascal Hood having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leonard Kjellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin-Pascal Hood was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ronny Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Leonard Kjellqvist scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin-Pascal Hood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Raska Bollgrabbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Bergdal to maneuver through the defense. AIK's Anthon Nordal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Kjellqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Leonard Kjellqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robin-Pascal Hood was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Hultstrand in the 55th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Arvid Uggla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57th play minutes Leonard Kjellqvist shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Robin-Pascal Hood and just under the crossbar into goal. Arvid Uggla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Sundberg in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Adam Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonard Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bäckström came free, but Arvid Uggla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Bäckström scored 2-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvid Uggla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Staffan Alfors charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Staffan Alfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Raska Bollgrabbar got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Alfors. Arvid Uggla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Hultstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Raska Bollgrabbar's Robin-Pascal Hood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Raska Bollgrabbar from getting a goal against them.
