In the 8th minute, Genarp FK's Juli Garvetti seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Juli Garvetti the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Genarp FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Juli Garvetti had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 8th minute, Juli Garvetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Remigio Leoncio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Eskilsson. Genarp FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Leoncio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute Remigio Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Leoncio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Eskilsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Empo FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alfred Glad hit a great ball. Alfred Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Empo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Mellbad to maneuver through the defense. Evert Eskilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 33 minutes, Ottó Nyitrai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genarp FK and the Empo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Eskilsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Alfred Glad's late challenge caught a Genarp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Glad helped the player get up and apologised. The Empo FF fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Empo FF's Remigio Leoncio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Empo FF's zone, Urban Igelström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Varglien came out of the goal and Urban Igelström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Högberg made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Genarp FK's Conny Anundsson. 77 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Back came free, but Cesare Varglien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Marcus Högberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Varglien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Back in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes Empo FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Blomberg who took care of the corner kick. Evert Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genarp FK's Evert Eskilsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Genarp FK from getting a goal against them. Genarp FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Igelström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Urban Igelström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genarp FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Igelström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Empo FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
