After 14 minutes IFK Kristineberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isac Mellbad who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Isac Mellbad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Georg Sandell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th match minute, IFK Kristineberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Emander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Leoncio in the 24th minute of play forced IFK Kristineberg's goalkeeper Georg Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Glad in the 26th minute of play. Georg Sandell made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Spike Delamore sent off a good shot on target. Spike Delamore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Georg Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Alfred Glad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Kristineberg the free kick. In the 44th minute, Alfred Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ted Björkqvist made the kick off in the second half. Georg Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Glad in the 58th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, IFK Kristineberg's Siphokazi Steyn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Varglien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesare Varglien made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ted Björkqvist sent off a good shot on target. IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Delamore in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Empo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Glad to maneuver through the defense. If Spike Delamore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Remigio Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
