In the 6th minute Tao Shi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Söderkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Tao Shi Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosta's Ture Söderkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Arne Larsfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Öberg having to interfere. Tao Shi Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungbyholm's zone, Stig-Arne Larsfält stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Öberg came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Larsfält tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ljungbyholm's Ivar Billock was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 22 minutes in the game, Tao Shi Fan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ture Söderkvist having to interfere. Manfred Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Larsfält in the 24th minute of the match. Stig-Arne Larsfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manfred Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 29 minutes, Freddie Finsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kosta and the Ljungbyholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tao Shi Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Baycan Işıldar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljungbyholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kosta the free kick. The supporters of Kosta booed when Ljungbyholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baycan Işıldar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Prusinowski in the 60th minute of play forced Kosta's goalkeeper Ture Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Jarl Nordgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Öberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Ljungbyholm. Mariusz Prusinowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ture Söderkvist. 2-0. If Stig-Arne Larsfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Ljungbyholm's Waldir Andrade made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Söderkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Fernström kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Robin Larsfält recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Kosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Ljungbyholm's Mariusz Prusinowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ture Söderkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljungbyholm reached it. In the 91st minute, Waldir Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ture Söderkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Stig-Arne Larsfält might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Öberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Arne Larsfält ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Ljungbyholm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
