Karlovacko's Jimmie Wennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Stenqvist in the 15th minute of play. Bo-Erik Fagrell hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Sandberg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Bruse saved Ultra Boys from getting behind. Åke Walmarsson struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jimmie Wennerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultra Boys. In the 27th minute Bo-Erik Fagrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Wennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernst Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mats Bruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Blanck's late challenge caught a Karlovacko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Blanck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Adam Blanck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Ultra Boys's Ove Larsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ove Larsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ultra Boys protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ove Larsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of Ultra Boys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Sandberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ted Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Bruse was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Viktor Fernkvist made a precise shot to the right of Mats Bruse. Ultra Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Torbjörn Tidén hit a great ball. Jimmie Wennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Fagrell in the 88th minute of the match. Viktor Fernkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Bruse having to interfere. Markus Lilja hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Henry Forsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernst Stenqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Karlovacko were the better team. Karlovacko's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
