Spectators: 7708 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sverker Vallengren made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Vallengren got free with Ture Söderkvist in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Arne Larsfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Törnqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Forsman in the 17th minute of play forced Söderströms IF's goalkeeper Hugo Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Kosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Henry Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sverker Vallengrens short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Ture Söderkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ian Qvarnström fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kosta's protests and gave Ian Qvarnström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kosta's Freddie Finsberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Kosta's Stig-Arne Larsfält made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Törnqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Henry Soned came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Söderströms IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Soned couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Jens-Erik Biörkquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Soned could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ture Söderkvist made a huge save. Ture Söderkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Soned, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Forsman made a kick off. Sverker Vallengren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Söderkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Hans Malm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Sverker Vallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Freddie Finsberg fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kosta's protests and gave Freddie Finsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Freddie Finsberg hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Henry Soned sped through Kosta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Söderkvist. Sverker Vallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ture Söderkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Soned in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Sverker Vallengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ture Söderkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The supporters of Kosta booed when Söderströms IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kosta's Ture Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Vallengren in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Sverker Vallengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ture Söderkvist. Kosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Vallengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Ture Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Soned in the 90th minute of play. Ture Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Vallengren in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Kosta's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Ture Söderkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Soned in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Söderkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Qvarnström got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ian Qvarnström hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Söderströms IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
