In the 9th minute Tim Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Böcklund scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Josefsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sven Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlovacko. 21 minutes into the match, Karlovacko's goalkeeper Jimmie Wennerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juraj Jakubov. If Ove Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Josefsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Fernkvist went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Karlovacko's Viktor Fernkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Josefsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Karlovacko fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Karlovacko's Ted Sandberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 32 minutes, Ulf Eskilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsterbro and the Karlovacko players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the game, Karlovacko's Ove Abrahamsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Tim Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Josefsson having to interfere. Tim Böcklund took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Josefsson. Sven Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ted Sandberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sven Josefsson to make any attempt to save it. Sven Josefsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ove Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sven Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Karlovacko getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rickard Lund hit a great ball. Karlovacko made a substitution. Henry Forsman replaced Rickard Lund. The supporters of Alsterbro booed when Karlovacko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ove Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Ted Sandberg notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson. Sven Josefsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ted Sandberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Sven Josefsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 77 minutes into the game, Ted Sandberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven Josefsson. Ted Sandberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Josef Godholm hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ove Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Alsterbro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ted Sandberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Sven Josefsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 99 played minutes, Karlovacko's Henry Forsman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Josefsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karlovacko reached it. The Alsterbro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karlovacko were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
