An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Billock in the 4th minute of play forced Transtrand's goalkeeper Nils Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Transtrand getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gustav Blom hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Ivar Billock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljungbyholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Transtrand the free kick. After 18 played minutes Ljungbyholm got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Billock. Manfred Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Mikaelsson in the 19th minute of play. Elof Uggla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Öberg having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Transtrand's Freddie Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfred Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tao Shi Fan scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Wennerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Ljungbyholm got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Billock. In the 35th minute Tao Shi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Söderquist took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Wennerberg. Nils Wennerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Tao Shi Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungbyholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 48th minute Tao Shi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tao Shi Fan made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Ljungbyholm's Mariusz Prusinowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Wennerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Billock got free with Nils Wennerberg in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddie Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Öberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Nils Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Nils Wennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Shi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljungbyholm's Waldir Andrade was substituted for Ivar Billock. After 70 played minutes Transtrand got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Ugla. Baycan Işıldar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nils Wennerberg. Transtrand's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Transtrand from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ljungbyholm's Simon Bållström got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Jonas Wästerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manfred Öberg. Ljungbyholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Wästerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. With a little luck, Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg got control of the ball when Fredrik Söderquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Waldir Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Wennerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Manfred Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Söderquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nils Wennerberg made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Mariusz Prusinowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils Wennerberg, 2-7. In the 95th minute, Waldir Andrade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nils Wennerberg. The goal made the score 2-8.
