Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Rolf Rudkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven Josefsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alsterbro's goalkeeper Sven Josefsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Sverker Vallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th match minute, Alsterbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Landin to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Söderströms IF's Henry Soned nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Sven Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Vallengren in the 25th minute of the match. Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Rudkvist in the 28th minute of play. Hugo Törnqvist made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Karl-Magnus Landin sent off a good shot on target. The corner led to Alsterbro's Ulf Eskilsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 37th minute, Henry Soned ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Vallengren in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Alsterbro's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Sven Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Rudkvist in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Juraj Jakubov made the kick off in the second half. The Söderströms IF fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Söderströms IF's Henry Soned looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Söderströms IF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Torsten Bengtsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Söderströms IF's zone, Karl-Magnus Landin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Törnqvist came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Landin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Soned in the 57th minute of play forced Alsterbro's goalkeeper Sven Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Alsterbro got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Karlberg. In the 62nd minute Thor Rydelius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Söderströms IF's Henry Soned dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Vallengren got free with Sven Josefsson in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Söderströms IF's Calle Mellbad got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Alsterbro's Fredric Karlberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Soned in the 79th minute of play forced Alsterbro's goalkeeper Sven Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Josefsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sverker Vallengren went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Sverker Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Sverker Vallengren made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Soned in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Henry Soned ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. With a little luck, Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson got control of the ball when Sverker Vallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Alsterbro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Söderströms IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
