Ture Söderkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Abrahamsson in the 10th minute. If Ove Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Sandberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ture Söderkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Ted Sandberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ted Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlovacko's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Sandberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Söderkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Viktor Fernkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Rickard Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ture Söderkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ture Söderkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Fernkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Karlovacko's Viktor Fernkvist made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Söderkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimmie Wennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Sandberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ture Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Abrahamsson in the 51st minute of play. Kosta's Ture Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Fernkvist in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ove Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlovacko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The supporters of Karlovacko booed when Kosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stig-Arne Larsfält hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Stig-Arne Larsfält left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kosta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Ted Sandberg put it in 8-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ture Söderkvist. 76 minutes into the game, Karlovacko's Ted Sandberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ture Söderkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-2. Ture Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Fernkvist in the 81st minute of play. Ted Sandberg scored 10-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Söderkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ture Söderkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Sandberg in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Ove Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlovacko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Karlovacko got a freekick which was hit by Henry Forsman. There was no doubt that Karlovacko were the better team. Karlovacko's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
