After 16 played minutes Alsterbro got a freekick which was hit by Billy Jonasson. After a rather tough play, Alsterbro's Krister Åström got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Papo Napolitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Granström in the 22nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ulf Eskilsson in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Röfors's Börje Törnblom. The supporters of Röfors booed when Alsterbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Eskilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juraj Jakubov made a kick off. Juraj Jakubov kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alsterbro defense, Christopher Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Josefsson. The Alsterbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Josefsson should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Sven-Edvin Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 65 in the game by Lorenzo Enekoitz from a close distance when the talented Sven Josefsson managed to make a qualified save. Alsterbro's players were relieved. When Lennart Bergfelt came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Alsterbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Bergfelt couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Papo Napolitano in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Erik Brandin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven Josefsson, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Erik Brandin took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sven Josefsson to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Alsterbro defense, Papo Napolitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Josefsson. The Alsterbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Josefsson should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute of the game, Sven-Edvin Granström landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Folke Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsterbro's protests and gave Folke Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. Röfors's Torsten Häger was substituted for Sven-Edvin Granström. The supporters of Röfors booed when Alsterbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Alsterbro's Sven Josefsson got control of the ball when Papo Napolitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Alsterbro getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fredric Karlberg hit a great ball.
