Gustav Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Kosta defense, Freddie Carlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ture Söderkvist. The Kosta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ture Söderkvist should have stopped the shot. In the 7th match minute, Transtrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Kilstedt to maneuver through the defense. Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Forsman in the 9th minute of play. Ture Söderkvist came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Transtrand's Freddie Carlsson. But to his dismay, Freddie Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kosta's Ture Söderkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Kosta from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Vilhelm Forsman made a precise shot to the right of Nils Wennerberg. Transtrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Transtrand booed when Kosta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Finsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Ture Söderkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Freddie Carlsson put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ture Söderkvist. Nils Wennerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Forsman in the 44th minute of play. Nils Wennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Larsfält notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg. Nils Wennerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddie Carlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ture Söderkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddie Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg got control of the ball when Stig-Arne Larsfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Allan Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ture Söderkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Carlsson in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hans Malm hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kosta's zone, Freddie Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ture Söderkvist came out of the goal and Freddie Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Transtrand's Freddie Carlsson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ture Söderkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddie Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Anders Sigman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hans Malm hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Freddie Carlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ture Söderkvist. Kosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddie Carlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kosta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Transtrand.
