Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ernst Stenqvist made the kick off which started today's match. Åke Walmarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Ernst Stenqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ture Söderkvist. Kosta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst Stenqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hans Malm kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ernst Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Söderkvist having to interfere. If Ernst Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Bruse made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Stig-Arne Larsfält sent off a good shot on target. When Ernst Stenqvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ultra Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Stenqvist couldn't finish the play. Mats Bruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Forsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Forsman in the 26th minute of play forced Ultra Boys's goalkeeper Mats Bruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ernst Stenqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ture Söderkvist was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ernst Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Söderkvist having to interfere. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Freddie Finsberg hit a great ball. If Åke Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Kosta got a freekick which was hit by Anders Sigman. After 43 minutes of play, Ultra Boys's Ernst Stenqvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Söderkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ultra Boys were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Forsman was the one to do the kick off. Mats Bruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Forsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52ndth minute of the game Stig-Arne Larsfält who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ultra Boys's Mats Bruse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kosta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ture Söderkvist, was totally fooled by Ultra Boys's Bo-Erik Fagrell, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kosta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Åke Walmarsson scored to the left of an out of position Ture Söderkvist, making the score, 0-4. Ture Söderkvist made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Åke Walmarsson sent off a good shot on target. Mats Bruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Bruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Qvarnström in the 75th minute of play. Ernst Stenqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Söderkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. When Anders Sigman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 78th match minute, Kosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Sigman to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Biörkquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kosta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultra Boys the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kosta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ture Söderkvist had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Bo-Erik Fagrell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 80 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Fagrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ture Söderkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Stenqvist in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Söderkvist saved Kosta from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Kosta's Stig-Arne Larsfält sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Bruse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ture Söderkvist had great luck who in the 86thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ernst Stenqvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ultra Boys's Mats Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Larsfält in the 88th minute of play. Ernst Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ture Söderkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Stig-Arne Larsfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kosta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Larsfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Stenqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ture Söderkvist having to make a save. The Kosta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ultra Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Ultra Boys.
