Spectators: 7676 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sverker Vallengren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nils Wennerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Rudkvist in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Transtrand booed when Söderströms IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Vallengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Freddie Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Henry Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Söderströms IF's Henry Soned dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sverker Vallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nils Wennerberg made a huge save. After 27 minutes, Freddie Carlsson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddie Carlsson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Törnqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Transtrand getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gustav Blom hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Söderströms IF's Nils Wennerberg threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henry Soned, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hugo Törnqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Transtrand's Nils Wennerberg got control of the ball when Sverker Vallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Rudkvist in the 39th minute of play forced Transtrand's goalkeeper Nils Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Transtrand's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Nils Wennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Uggla in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Transtrand's goalkeeper Nils Wennerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sverker Vallengren. In the 47th minute Freddie Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddie Carlsson made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Rolf Rudkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 61 minutes into the game, Söderströms IF's Sverker Vallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Wennerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Nils Wennerberg came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Söderströms IF's Rolf Rudkvist. But to his dismay, Rolf Rudkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Freddie Carlsson took a quick shot and it went in 6-2 without a chance for Hugo Törnqvist to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Vallengren in the 75th minute of play forced Transtrand's goalkeeper Nils Wennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Jonas Wästerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Transtrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderströms IF the free kick. 77 minutes into the match, Transtrand's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Nils Wennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Sverker Vallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. Elof Uggla struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hugo Törnqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Transtrand. Nils Wennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Rydelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Sverker Vallengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Wennerberg. Transtrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Vallengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. When the referee ended the match the Söderströms IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
