Ultra Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Vallengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Hugo Törnqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Stenqvist's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Åke Walmarsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Törnqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Sverker Vallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Mats Bruse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ultra Boys's Mats Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Soned in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Henry Soned sped through Ultra Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mats Bruse. Ultra Boys's Mats Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Rydelius in the 39th minute of play. If Åke Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Vallengren to make the kick off. Sverker Vallengren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Mats Bruse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mats Bruse was a little too slow when Henry Soned got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-7. Sverker Vallengren in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mats Bruse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Henry Soned succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. In the 66th minute Henry Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Bruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Ultra Boys got a freekick which was hit by William Ekeberg. A collision led to Söderströms IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kevin Stenqvist hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ultra Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Mats Bruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Rudkvist in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Bruse saved Ultra Boys from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Ultra Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Mats Bruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultra Boys's goalkeeper Mats Bruse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Bruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Soned in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Henry Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderströms IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9.
