The referee ignored Portalens FK's protests and gave Jörgen Jönsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Portalens FK's zone, Cecilio Cresencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Blumentritt came out of the goal and Cecilio Cresencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Arvin Sigman in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Besiktas's Joakim Skräddare. Simon Blumentritt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Sauveur in the 10th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Jacek Turok heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jonas Snell hit a great ball. Melker Björck made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stig-Ove Hjortberg immediately put the ball in play. Simon Blumentritt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Cresencio in the 19th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Sandwall made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mikael Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes Besiktas got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Bredberg. In the 23rd minute, Johannes Lundblad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Besiktas's Jan-Erik Sandwall didn't even have to move. If Stig-Ove Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Johannes Lundblad could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Jan-Erik Sandwall however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Besiktas's Jan-Erik Sandwall got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Hjortberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig-Ove Hjortberg in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Erik Sandwall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Besiktas were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Portalens FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cecilio Cresencio took the corner. 43 minutes into the match, Cecilio Cresencio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portalens FK's Simon Blumentritt. Simon Blumentritt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Besiktas's Celso Sauveur quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arvin Sigman, made in the 53rd minute of the game. If Alexander Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Blumentritt having to interfere. In the 58th minute Mikael Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Offendahl to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Lundblad, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61st minute, Johannes Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melker Björck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Erik Sandwall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Portalens FK got a corner. Besiktas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johannes Lundblad ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Portalens FK's Melker Björck to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan-Erik Sandwall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anton Offendahl hit a great ball. Jörgen Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Celso Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Simon Blumentritt made a huge save. Jan-Erik Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Hjortberg in the 78th minute of the match. Jacek Turok charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacek Turok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jacek Turok hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Forsberg in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Celso Sauveur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Blumentritt, 0-2. Jan-Erik Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Lundblad in the 92nd minute of play. The Portalens FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Besiktas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
