Sakarias Eskilsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Hornstull IK's Dave Fino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. Bangårdens Fina Grabbar were furious when Tommy Holmgren was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 29th minute, one of Bangårdens Fina Grabbar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bangårdens Fina Grabbar. The goalkeeper, Michel Palmquist, was totally fooled by Hornstull IK's Dave Fino, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Sjögren in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Palmquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bangårdens Fina Grabbar's zone, Georg Ahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Palmquist came out of the goal and Georg Ahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Hornstull IK got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sjögren. 46 minutes into the game, Åke Rydelius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bangårdens Fina Grabbar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornstull IK the free kick. In the 46th minute, Åke Rydelius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Sjögren made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Evert Sjögren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Michel Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Hornstull IK fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Hornstull IK's Evert Sjögren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Hornstull IK's Evert Sjögren in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Evert Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Michel Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jon Pilblad fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bangårdens Fina Grabbar's protests and gave Jon Pilblad a yellow card for diving instead. Jon Pilblad kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Michel Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bangårdens Fina Grabbar's Michel Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Sjögren in the 79th minute of play. Rickard Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Palmquist having to interfere. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Evert Sjögren sped through Bangårdens Fina Grabbar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Palmquist. Ivan Linquist took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Palmquist. Michel Palmquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Rickard Biörk might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Biörk ran back to his position shaking his head.
