Evert Sjögren started the match with the kick off. Felix Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gökçek Naci in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hornstull IK's Rickard Biörk. The supporters of Kävlinge Harrie FF booed when Hornstull IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When André Överman came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hornstull IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Överman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Hornstull IK's zone, Lars Västberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Ahlroht came out of the goal and Lars Västberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Alfonso Padro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leif Ahlroht, 1-0. In the 29th minute Alfonso Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Täman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Kävlinge Harrie FF's Alfonso Padro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 37th minute Alfonso Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Ahlroht having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Georg Ahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hornstull IK and the Kävlinge Harrie FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Georg Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Padro made a kick off. Christer Trillkott hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When André Överman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Hornstull IK fans jumped to their feet. Evert Sjögrens short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Fidel Selmo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leif Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Padro in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Padro in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Sjögren during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evert Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Hornstull IK got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Larsson. When Kävlinge Harrie FF's Alfonso Padro in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lars Västberg struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Leif Ahlroht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kävlinge Harrie FF. After a rather tough play, Hornstull IK's Mattias Karlsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hornstull IK's Josef Täman got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Padro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Ahlroht saved Hornstull IK from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Alfonso Padro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Lars Västberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kävlinge Harrie FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Västberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Hornstull IK's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Padro came free, but Leif Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kävlinge Harrie FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
