In the 12th minute, Celso Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. King Zack was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jan-Erik Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Liverpool Spiceboys's Pål Lindqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Erik Sandwall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jan-Erik Sandwall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pål Lindqvist in the 18th minute. Jan-Erik Sandwall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pål Lindqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Fågel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Sandwall having to interfere. In the 67th minute Sten Siggesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Snell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Johannes Fågel notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Besiktas's Jan-Erik Sandwall. The Liverpool Spiceboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 96 minutes into the game, Pål Lindqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Jan-Erik Sandwall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
