Spectators: 7886 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilhelm Ek made the kick off which started today's match. Carl Askelöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Ek's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Uggla in the 7th minute of play. The corner ended in Conny Uggla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf did a great save. When Ture Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Boomerang Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Jönsson couldn't finish the play. Göran Lindberg made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Billy Sundberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Stig Dalgren suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 18 minutes into the game, Torsten Eckegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fagersta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boomerang Bombers the free kick. Torsten Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Carl Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Öberg in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Wahlnäs in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Lindberg saved Fagersta from getting behind. If Aðalráður Þórðarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Sundberg got free with Göran Lindberg in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Askelöf came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Fagersta's Conny Uggla. But to his dismay, Conny Uggla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Göran Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Wahlnäs in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Ek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Askelöf was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wilhelm Ek sped through Boomerang Bombers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl Askelöf.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Wahlnäs to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fagersta's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Wahlnäs came free, but Göran Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Jonas Öberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carl Askelöf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Fagersta's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Lundström came free, but Göran Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when Fagersta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Sundberg in the 68th minute of the match. Billy Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Lindberg having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Fagersta got a freekick which was hit by Aðalráður Þórðarson. Göran Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Högström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Fagersta got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Brun. Ture Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Göran Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Wahlnäs scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göran Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arman Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Alexander Wahlnäs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fagersta's Göran Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Boomerang Bombers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fagersta's performance. The match ended with a win for Fagersta.
