In the 15thth minute of the game Jonas Öberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FiascoAlabama's Peder Frisk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Ek in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peder Frisk saved FiascoAlabama from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Ek in the 18th minute of play forced FiascoAlabama's goalkeeper Peder Frisk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fagersta were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FiascoAlabama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conny Uggla took the corner. Fagersta's Conny Uggla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peder Frisk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 24 minutes, Wilhelm Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagersta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peder Frisk. FiascoAlabama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 30 minutes, Wilhelm Ek made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FiascoAlabama's Peder Frisk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Wilhelm Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Frisk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Ek in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peder Frisk saved FiascoAlabama from getting behind. In the 38th minute Wilhelm Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Frisk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Ek in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peder Frisk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Ek to make the kick off. With a left leg Peder Frisk saved FiascoAlabama from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, FiascoAlabama's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Ek came free, but Peder Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Fagersta's Aðalráður Þórðarson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peder Frisk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FiascoAlabama's goalkeeper Peder Frisk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, FiascoAlabama's goalkeeper Peder Frisk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uno Bjurström. Gabriel Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Lindberg having to interfere. The corner ended in Uno Bjurström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FiascoAlabama's Peder Frisk did a great save. Peder Frisk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Arne Lundström. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Wilhelm Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peder Frisk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magnus Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, FiascoAlabama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Fagersta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
