The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeno Sama got free with Carl Askelöf in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leif Skoog kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Stig Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed De Goeij having to interfere. If Zeno Sama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Boomerang Bombers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Snedspark IF's Ed De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Dalgren in the 53rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Zeno Sama notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carl Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Stephansson in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Stig Dalgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Zeno Sama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Askelöf was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
